Meanwhile, there are plenty which have been scored just a one out of five. There are four establishments throughout the North East that have been given a zero rating by inspectors. ![]() The ratings below were taken from the Food Standards Agency (FSA) website as they appeared on January 31, 2020. Here we have listed the venues across the North East, including Newcastle, County Durham, Sunderland, Northumberland and Gateshead, that scored either zero or one out of five.Ī one star rating means "major improvement necessary", while a five is given to sites where hygiene standards are "very good".
